Book Review: Gobi Goes Viral by Vibha Batra

To be honest, I am a little late to the party celebrating aka reviewing the book, Gobi Goes Viral. The book was written by Vibha Batra and illustrated by Shamika Chaves. And I received this delightful book through the Blogchatter Book Review Program.

So, why was I late? Well, it's because my 9-years old son laid his hand first on the book and would not leave the book alone. He loved reading it so much that he re-read it twice in a single week.

Naturally, I have to add his thoughts about the book first. Here are they-

Here are my thoughts.

The book is all about your willpower and ambition to live a better life. Gopi represents every child including you, me and millions of Indian children who dream big and work hard enough to achieve them.

I also liked that the book addressed the issue of bullying in school in an apt manner. I was looking for books that address the issue and the book served this purpose beautifully.

Gobi Goes Viral is a captivating narrative that is equally liked by this mother-son duo.
